Video Games

As a Community Manager, I developed a strong understanding of the importance of community and sentiment, and how that can shape the success (or failure) of a product, feature, or event. I learned to interact with customers regularly and developed the necessary soft skills to develop strong relationships, respect and integrity among customer groups.

As a Producer, I used player data and analysed user sentiment from a number of sources to develop and recommend marketing and release strategies for a new game.

I created a roadmap and functional specification for the game to take it from prototype, to MVP, to Beta testing and Release. I liaised with senior stakeholders and designers to achieve buy-in. This effort coordinated a fully remote development team on features and task.

As a Level Designer, I gained experience of developing and testing prototypes and MVP versions of levels. Building levels gave me experience working in a cross-functional team with Art, Marketing and release, Engineering, Production, and Designers.
